Our Journey
Our Shared Homes started with a simple realisation: some of the best travel experiences don't happen in hotels, they happen in real homes.
Over the years, our family has stayed in more than 60 homes across 10 countries through home exchanging. Every stay was different, but they all shared something special, we weren't just passing through, we felt like we truly belonged.
Along the way, we built lasting friendships and discovered a more meaningful way to explore the world. Those experiences inspired us to create Our Shared Homes, a trusted community where every member is verified, every exchange is transparent, and every stay is built on mutual respect. We wanted to make travel more personal, more affordable, and more sustainable while giving people the opportunity to experience destinations as locals rather than tourists.
Today, Our Shared Homes is more than a home exchange platform. It's a growing community of like-minded travellers who believe that sharing homes creates stronger connections, unforgettable experiences, and a genuine sense of belonging wherever life takes you.

How It Works
Getting started with OSH is simple, just three easy steps and you’re on your way
Create account
It is free to create an account and list your home. You only pay an annual membership fee when you confirm your first exchange.
Step 02
Verify your identity
We use Entrust, a trusted identity verification provider, to confirm every member is who they say they are. It's a simple process that keeps the OSH community safe .
Request or host stay
Browse homes, connect with members, and unlock your Credits for your first exchange. Swap Together, Flexi Swap, Host Stay, there's a way to travel that suits you. Full details in our FAQs.
Confirm your first exchange
Lock in your first exchange and your activate your annual membership (for less than a night in a hotel in a major city!) From there, you're free to keep exchanging all year round.

Flexible home swaps and pet care options designed around your lifestyle

Both members travel and stay in each other's homes at the same time.
Flexi Swap
A home exchange with flexibility Exchange on different dates that work best for both parties.
OSH Credits Stay
Use OSH Credits for the stay. The host can then use those Credits on a stay elsewhere, at the same time or later on.
